Beach GearThe beach-front clothes shops have all the beach gear you could want - hats, mats, flip-flops, shorts, t-shirts and swimming gear. While cheap by European standards, by Thai standards the prices are high. If you are after better value beach gear, Vogue department store, The Outlet Store or Big C in Krabi Town are the places to go. You can also pick up real brand-name gear at much less than you would pay back home. TailorFor a reliable and talented Ao Nang tailor, use Armani, which is located 300 metres down from McDonalds, on the oppposite side of the road. We live in Ao Nang, and this is where we buy our smart clothes (every decade or two).
